OK, let's try some things before you give up:
  • Can you read the files INSTALL.ROM and OVERRIDE.PRF on the SM card using your computer's card reader?
  • Is the SM card already formatted "FAT"?
  • Did you try to first format the SM card in the GEB1150 reader using the information (item #3) here?
    Then, copy the INSTALL.ROM and OVERRIDE.PRF files to the "root" directory of SM card for insertion into the GEB1150. For example, if your computer's SM card reader shows up as Drive E:, then copy those two files to E:\ and not into any subdirectory.
