I am not an engineer. My cell phone has USB C and charges rapidly. My Chromebook has USB C and downloads files quickly. My Chromebook also charges quickly. So, why is it that a Kindle Oasis can't be built with USB C and rapid charge?

As for data transfer, Kindle is selling a 32Gb option for the Oasis to accomodate audio books. That means downloading larger files, doesn't it? So, why is it everything except Kindles can have higher data transfer with USB C?

Just curious. Perhaps Kindles are at a dead end and Amazon Kindle can move ehead.
