Interesting. I, on the other hand, don't own anything with a USB C connection. I have a cell phone, 3 different tablets, and 3 different brands of e-readers. Not one of them uses USB C.
My son got a cell phone that uses USB C, and it's a major pain. He travels for a living, and if he accidentally leaves his cable in a hotel room or on the jobsite, he can't just go into a convenience store and buy a new cable. He has dozens of micro USB cables, but the only place he can find USB C is either Amazon or Best Buy.
