So interestingly I just noticed on the Amazon.ca 'splash' page (pun intended) for the Oasis 2, that the port looks clearly like USB-C (symmetrical, rounded port):

Of course it looks like it's actually going to actually be a micro port, but interesting that Amazon is featuring a USB-C render in a prominent promo image - might suggest that they know USB-C looks better or that they considered a USB-C port at some point in the design? Or maybe some other fun conspiracy theory? Anyways, just an interesting point
