not sure if necessary or not, but I can here that coplate said that he forked kindletool in order to do what he needed. maybe it is also necessary for repackaging for manga pw3? his post is here

edit: I found coplate's fork of kindletool on github and after compiling, it has the same result, though I can see that coplate's fork adds the 293 and 294 devices...
