@stewart_campbell - If those old versions are showing up in Control Panel->Programs and Features try this:

Download the msi for 3.2.1 from here. Run the msi and chose Remove. If that works -- i.e. calibre 3.2.1 disappears from CP->Programs and Features -- repeat for 3.3

If it doesn't work try using a lightweight registry cleaner

@theducks - if they are portables then the Windows Trusted Installer subsystem wouldn't know about them. It's a pretty safe bet that WTI is issuing the message.

@JSWolf - as of a few months ago the likes of HP were selling 2GB laptops with 32bit Win 10, I suspect they still do.
