As an oldie, I used to try smaller fonts to get as much text on a page as possible, and while I could read it, it just didn't feel comfortable.
Then I thought - Why do I need more text on a page anyway? It's not exactly hard to turn over, using just a press of the thumb on my Voyage.
So for over a year I've been using size 7 Bookerly, which was very comfortable to read.
I've just installed the new update, and still in Bookerly have increased bold to 1 and reduced size to 6, and first impressions are that it's even more comfortable to read.
So I for one am very pleased with it

I've always used size 5. I don't consider myself an oldie yet, but I do have pretty poor eyesight. I'm curious to see what the new update will be like (haven't had time to install it so far). Bold Bookerly might be nice, although I'm quite satisfied with Helvetica.
