Need readers for a work-in-progress

Hello:

I just came to Mobileread for one purpose: I need Beta readers for a short novel I'm working on. Like the people who come here with surveys, I don't intend to come back: I just want to use you and then vanish, but I will mention you in a preface-type area. I notice a lot of writer-types use this forum to get help on their very bad cover art, so I thought I would do the same thing, except instead of a lousy cover I could get help on making my lousy short novel a better thing to read. After I finish my novel, I plan to promote it maybe every day, if I have time. I could give you the name of my novel, but I don't want the moderators to get suspicious and stick their busy noses in places they don't belong and think this is spam, cause it's not. This will be our little secret, OK? I have one last question: Can I copyright this post?

Before I go, I will give one clue about my short novel: It has aliens (from Outer Space!), hillbillies (from Arkansas!), a constipated FBI agent, a hero (with ESP powers!), and a heroine (ticklish under her armpits when feathers are applied!). There may be more characters later on.

Oh, and before I forget, I'm an Indie writer, but I don't live there.

Oh, wait: I wanted you to know that I like colons! Not the ones in our bodies, but this kind: :. (That's not an L or Mickey Mouse looking sideways, but a colon and then a period.)

You may PM me if you wish to read the 5 short chapters I already have.*

* = Seriously.
