If you look at the description of the device on Amazon, you'll note that it says:

Doesn't that wording (underlined) suggest to you that the device won't actually ship with Audible support, but that it will be added later with a firmware update? That's certainly the way I read it. Consequently, the manual won't describe it until the firmware supports it.
