The final full day in Newcastle and I'm starting to get a cold. This morning I visited The Angel of the North, even though it was grey and drizzly. After that I treated myself to lunch at Las Iguanas. I had planned to visit the castle and take some pictures at the Tyne, but it had started to rain harder by then. So I explored the city centre, stocked up on a couple of extra packets of Lemsip. By 2pm I was back at the hotel and spend the afternoon doing girl things; I had a facial mask, tried out Lush's new hot oil treatment for your hair, took a nice, long, hot shower with other, new Lush things. After that and a Lemsip I felt human again.
Tomorrow should be dry and I don't have to catch the bus until 2.45pm, so I'm going to visit the castle and river then.
