On the other hand, if it works, it will be worth it. Especially given that I seem to end up buying new ones constantly, as the situation is now.

I don't know what the so-called "special" velcro is, but it's true that I currently have a molded mask that does have velcro that does NOT tangle in my hair, which is a biggie for me (as the mop is down to my waist, and tangles=bad).

If I break down and get it, I'll let you know if it works for me.
