Easy book management was one feature I loved. The swiping up and down the page to adjust the lighting was another (and Marvin has that feature).

Yep, Hyphen does that, too. And I like Hyphen's Goodreads integration because that has sort of made up for not having decent book management (a la Stanza) .. I keep better records of read and not read now, than I did previously. Never did get the hang of read/unread in Calibre, and what I used in Stanza was the little closed circle once you read something (I kept my books on board so it was always available)... Shubook 2M is something I have been reconsidering of late, as well.
Oh yeah, Hyphen's sync is much more reliable than Marvin's was. I dont know how that is now, but I found it infinitely frustrating in older versions of Marvin. Hyphen (for me) is doing perfect sync between 2 iPads and 2 iPhones.
