As for the 2.4A at 5V charger, the current drain from the wall outlet would be far lower than 2.4A, Using an Apple iPad charger (5.1V @2.1A) as an example, the rated AC current is .45A max so you could plug 40 of them into your 20A outlet and use, at most, 18A. OTOH, I wouldn't recommend that charger since it's micro USB plug has connection issues with almost every device I've tried it with.
