My husband and I recently filed our taxes and our return allowed us to buy presents for ourselves! He got a new tv, I got a Sony Reader PRS-700. Already I'm filling it up with free ebooks from Gutenberg.org and mel.org, and in the whole day I've had it, I've already finished a book! I'm so happy to finally be able to read again - remembering to carry around a bulky book is too much hassle, as the Sony Reader fits nicely into my purse.
Even so, I have already noticed a couple issues with the reader, specifically how it alphabetizes by the authors' first names. Ugh! A librarian's nightmare (and I should know, I am one). Anywho, it's nice to meet you all, and I hope to learn all about the wonderful things I can do with my new reader.
