Finally able to connect my iphone 7+ via connect as wireless device after months of inability despite all attempts to remedy. Still can't connect to "content server" but better than nothing.
Sigh, tried to connect using both modes and no joy...tried using ip's, etc...no luck either. Shut off both computer and phone...reconnect...no luck again.
Don't know if it is Windows 10, latest version of ios, device, etc...giving up and using copy paste method via itunes which has never failed or direct via Amazon...oh well.
