I have found that importing the aax files into iTunes, then exporting the playlist will give me a text file that can be loaded with Numbers with all the meta data. The only two major missing fields are series and narrator. Of course, I tend to view series info as extremely major when it comes to the books that I listen to. Still most kindle ebooks don't seem to have series info in the meta data either (baen does), so I have gotten use to entering it.
