New Humble Bundle is up, and it's a nice one for:

Humble Book Bundle Adventures in Science Fiction presented by Open Road Media, chock full of backlist titles from their catalogue of well-known and award-winning authors.

Authors include Andre Norton, Harlan Ellison (The City on the Edge of Forever original version, if you're a Star Trek fan), Poul Anderson, Joe Haldeman, Eleanor Arnason, Octavia E. Butler, Kate Elliot, Alan Dean Foster, and more.

Fixed tiers of $1, $8, $15, and $18 (no new titles added next week), with a bit of overlap from their two previous HB offerings and maybe their long-ago Groupees bundle, but otherwise a nice selection of stuff.

Quote:
To read will be an awfully big adventure. With this bundle of science fiction titles from Open Road Media, the whole universe is at your fingertips. Explore other worlds from Buzz Aldrin, Octavia E. Butler, Greg Bear, and more!
Still available are Humble Book Bundle Haikasoru presented by Viz Media containing Japanese science fiction in translation, and Humble Book Bundle Hacking Reloaded presented by No Starch Press containing mostly DIY programmer/cybersecurity titles.

If you happen to be interested in programming games, there's a freebie sampler offer for a DLC pack for popular game engine RPGMaker, available in return for your valid email address in the promo box on the page for the Humble RPGMaker Software Bundle.

StoryBundle also has a new sfnal offering, for:

Adventure Sci-Fi curated by Kevin J. Anderson, with backlist reprints and newer titles from his own WordFire Press and more.

Contributors include fellow MR member author Robert J. Sawyer with the 1st novel in his Ace-published Quintaglio Ascension trilogy (previously generously offered as a freebie when RJS received the Order of Canada), another novel in the late Robert Asprin's also Ace-published Phule's Company series, a 1993 Ace-published novel from Jody Lynn Nye, Brenda Cooper's 2007 Tor-published novel, and various authors, both established and new.

$5 minimum gets you 5 titles, including the Asprin and Nye backlist.
$15 top tier adds 8 more titles, including the Cooper and Sawyer backlist, another novel by Kevin J. Anderson himself, and more.

Previous offerings for The Aliens Among Us Bundle and Light in the Dark YA bundles are still available for a limited time.

Bundle of Holding's new RPG gamebook offerings are for: Demon: The Descent a spin-off story from Onyx Path's Chronicles of Darkness setting, whose premise is some kind of fallen angel espionage thriller, in which you play a defector from the heavens in a shadowy noir world of cover identities and conspiracies. Another similarly-themed recent offering is for Over the Edge from Atlas Games, with the conspiracies taking place on a mysterious reality-bending island full of surreal danger.

Still available for a limited time are the previous bundles for Maelstrom, a vintage 16th century magical Tudor-era fantasy game originally out from Puffin Books in 1984 now reprinted by Arion, and Lamentations +2 in the Lamentations of the Flame Princess nightmare fantasy game which is recommended for players 18 and up due to violence and other mature content.
