5th Generation PW1, WiFi and 3G. Screen in good condition, some scratches on front bezel and marks on back.

Update Oct 15, 2017. I had Amazon register the device on their end. I was able to then go to my Manage Your Content and Devices page, select a book, download it to my computer, save it and then transfer the book into the Documents folder of the Kindle. The book opened properly.

So I'm thinking that possibly someone wanting to root the device could also do the "fake registration" and gain access to the normal items which registration makes possible except direct connection to Amazon with the device.

Gives registration error when attempting to register, but it is NOT blocked at Amazon. They can register it on their end, but the kindle won't complete the registration process. I have repeatedly tried both reboots, factory reset, downgrading to OS 5.3.9 and attempted registration at that level, downloaded a fresh 5.6.1.1 OS and updated to that all to no avail.

Note when I attempted to register it would proceed far enough for Amazon to send the email with a special code for registration, but then would fail when that code was used, giving an "Internal Error" message.

2nd Unit
Demo model PW 1 WiFi and 3G. Works fine as a demo but has stubbornly refused to accept the update needed to get it out of demo mode. Looks like it will take more hacking skills than I'm willing to invest.
Screen is in very good to excellent condition. Bezel has some light scratches, back has scuffs and adhesive marks.
I've redone lots of demo units. With the exception of the other unit in this bundle, once you get them out of demo mode they will register properly with Amazon.
