The Audiobook Metadata plugin has noting to configure. Enable and drag and drop. The complicated parts is working around Calibre limitation of 1 file per format. If i understand correctly, he suggests creating one "book" per file (I have audiobooks with 200+ files, big No No).
I prefer to create an .m3u and only for audiobooks without an ebook (to sync reviews and rating). Foobar2000, MediaMonkey, etc are still better suited for audio.
Edit: I understand you want Audible data source, not read the aax metadata. It's already on Goodreads (Amazon-Audible owned) so I don't see it happening.
