I think the latter is the case. My wife likes to read but I think even the Kindle is too much for her technophobia. Note; I didn't say she was unintelligent. She is quite intelligent, she married me didn't she. But even though she can glance at a child in the day care where she works and tell you they aren't well, if a gadget has more than two buttons on it, she throws up her hands in dismay and frustration.
