If you take a Max, and give it a capable processor like the Rockwell 3288 we are discussing in the other thread, and just make sure that the most standard software for Android works fine, and yes ok one day you can have an upgrade to a more recent Android, I do not know what more to dream for. (Edit: forgot the multitouch! That's also handy - not strictly necessary, but handy).

Then, only small things remain, which can be ironed out in due course ("yes, the USB OTG, please add an option 'Are you really sure you want to enable it?', thanks"; "So you are having second thoughts on user services starting at start up, can you please make it optional"; "Look we would like to have the recent tasks switcher, can you maybe add it to the long-tap on home icon on screen and to the long press of an arrow, thank you", etc.)
