@canpolat - some further ideas

Have a look in FAQ and see if anything might apply. Problems often manifest themselves in different ways. In particular these three items from FAQ - Miscellaneous
  • calibre is not starting on Windows?
  • calibre freezes/crashes occasionally?
  • Using the viewer or doing any conversions results in a permission denied error on Windows
Especially these suggestions:
  • run in safe mode - could be interference from a third party prog in startup etc
  • turn your AV off - could be it's preventing access
  • install the 32bit version, no need to uninstall the 64bit, it will use the same configuration and libraries - from the FAQ.

    That should probably be "On some 64bit versions installations there are . . ." - I don't think it has ever been tied down to a specific version, it may be a specific patch.
