Even if you have to select just one instead of a folder, it'd be better than nothing.
I realize if you have a cover you don't want to show, you can just disable that. But you can't show your own image, which could be a way to display your personal art or just a really cool image. Book covers don't usually look as neat as some wallpapers, and you could display your interest(s)!
You could even just make an image of the appropriate size with your name and contact info on it, in case you lose your kobo.
