Whether on a PC, Tablet, or phone, the vast majority of my time is spent using a handful of programs/apps. I don't do a lot of customization, tweaking, or even personalizing on my devices. I simply use them. As such, I'm equally comfortable launching the programs I need on Linux, Windows, Mac, Android, FireOS, etc, ... . For me, it all boils down to clicking a shortcut on a desktop of some kind. I have my own preferences, sure. But I don't really have much in the way of
aversions when it comes to using various program launching shells. Nothing I feel the need to get worked up over, I guess. I may notice the fork is bent, but it's not going to cause me the slightest grief using it to get the mashed potatoes in my mouth.
