It is unlikely the a new Oasis would have "2017" in the name. That is probably an artifact of you or others having done that search previously.
The Oasis and basic Kindle are the only 8th generation devices. The PaperWhite and the Voyage are still 7th generation. I think it is much more likely that one of those would be updated instead.
(Personally I would prefer a completely new model with a larger screen.)
