After going back to 1.8.1 I was getting the annoying pop-up message: "please check the pre-installed books, dictionary and tts".
It was reported here but I couldn't find the solution (since opening the manual, the dictionary and the tts settings didn't work for me), so I post it here. Just disable /system/app/MediaFloat.apk and in the app drawer, opened options and cleared test apps
