I mistakenly thought this was a common issue because I skimmed a few discussions that came up in a Google search, but now I realize only one was actually about the Oasis (the others were about different Kindle models): https://www.reddit.com/r/kindle/comm...m_anyone_else/

Thanks. I notice the issue when I look at my Oasis in the dark. I always read in a lighted room and most screen problems (graininess, light cones, shadow blotches etc) are not visible then, so they don't bother me. The text on my Voyage is a bit crisper, but I'm pretty satisfied with the Oasis too. It's still a lot better than my Basic Kindles were (I've never used a Keyboard or a Paperwhite).
