In Europe, 300dpi readers with physical buttons include the Pocketbook Touch HD and the Cybook Muse HD. I have no experience at all of Cybook readers. I have the Pocketbook and I think it is a very good reader, though definitely improved further by installing the CoolReader-Pocketbook fork.
On the Android front, at 300dpi one might find the Onyx Boox Kepler Pro and the C67MLCarta2. Battery life may be less on Android readers. User posts of experience of both these readers can be found on this site.
