Let's say that for first round to get candidates I'll change this requirement from Required to Recommended. But in general there is one thing I don't really want to turn pages by touching screen, so the touch sensors for buttons are kind of acceptable, but I am here worried about their responsiveness, which is something I did not need to worry about on my old device.

Also when you are mentioning Kindle Voyage, what about Kindle Oasis? (even though I am little bit concerned about its cover holding only on magnets).
I have a Voyage and I turn pages by swiping so I don't use the page turn sensors but I did try them out when I first got it and a couple of times since then. I think they work surprisingly well. If I felt a need for buttons they'd satisfy me. But I don't. I swipe and I rarely think to press the sensors.

I had a Kindle Keyboard when I got my Kindle Touch, the first one with a touchscreen and no page turn buttons. I was convinced I'd hate it and sure enough, I did. At the end of a week I was thinking of returning it but I decided to give it a more serious try. I put my KK away and read only on the Touch for a week. Then I got the Kindle Keyboard out again to read with it and compare. The thing wouldn't turn the page no matter how much I swiped it and it got so irritating I sold it.

I've been swiping ever since.
