I checked again this morning with the light off, and it's still doing it (though it's much less noticeable, the light, and reading in the dark, was making it much more obvious - and distracting, as any kind of movement will be)

Long-pressing on the page footer cycles between page number / percent read / time remaining. Could there be something stuck on the screen or bezel causing it to register a continuous touch?
