That poster didn't need to. They factually posted that one author received prestigious awards indicating an audience that finds merit in her writing. This is an argument with supporting evidence for the worth of an author. The poster might not have even read that author and it would not change the interpretation of that post.
Perhaps you should stop policing threads with your tiresome "in your opinion" followups that adds nothing to the conversation.
