I am talking about the system file on my computer and being able to sort through the partial covers that indicate a failed to show on the device. I guess I am just curious as to why a cover might be shown in the file but not translate onto the device.

You can find the device nickname used here by looking up the first six characters of its serial number in this table:

The "Device Info" panel in the settings section that shows the serial number also shows the firmware version that is running.

Since you failed to make any answer to my questions on if you are using our screen save add-in (which also produces cover renderings), I will presume you are asking about the Amazon's stock firmware.
