Cover failure
While going through the system folder to see the "partials" that indicate a failure to show the cover on the device, I noticed that the id of the partial cover is listed under the same id of a proper cover.
Example:

thumbnail_3f317263-4c33-439f-a82b-a6a56de50584_EBOK_portrait.jpg
Question 1: Is this because there is a listing of the actual cover that was uploaded vs. the cover that the Kindle uses on the device? Thumbnails from the system folder only show the covers in either black and white (which I assume means that it matches up with the cover Amazon uses) or in color, which I assume means although it doesn't match up with the cover in the store, it is still accepted and pushed through on the Kindle. The thumbnails for failed covers show a color cover next to a blank cover.
Question 2: Anyone have ideas on how to determine why a covered failed with the information given in the file?
