Easy is in the eye of the beholder. Quicker depends on how far away the remote is. But the main point is that I got a Dot to control things with my voice. Period.
"The Clapper" is probably just as easy--as well as quicker (and cheaper)--to use to turn off my lights, but I prefer to tell Alexa to do it.
