Fortunately, I *do* know when I'm not good at something, even if it has to do with computers. I'm a great software engineer when it comes to designing and writing embedded systems or factory automation, competent when it comes to desktop applications (if not written in the very latest version of C# because I haven't used that for years), and I completely hate most web and mobile development because it's so trend sensitive. What is hot today, can be completely out of use next week. I also detest the fact that there are 5 million (and then some) frameworks for PHP, CSS, Javascript, and even frameworks on top of frameworks.
