Well, that makes it a bit less compelling. I may wait for the new Echo, then.
However, I encourage purchasers to try the Audible offer anyway.
When my wife get her Fire recently, I was surprised to find the the enclosed Audible offer worked for her, since we are "repeat offenders" and no other trial offer had recently.
Maybe the deal with buying a device is different than a typical trial offer?
