Well, after two months of convincing myself I didn't really need
a home bluetooth speaker for my Dot, I finally failed and ordered
the Marshall Acton. $160 minus a $40 gift-card for signing up for an Amazon store card, finally got it down to a price that didn't make me queasy.
At least I can take pride in the fact that I didn't give in to the temptation of the $249 80w Stanmore model.
