If you don't know how to compile at all an android app it may be a little difficult to explain all necessary steps. So let's start with this:

While I'm not willing to fine tune the app for your device it's not a problem to compile with some delays. In the zip there are 3 apps - with the delay 500ms, 1s and 2s. If you start with CoolReader-debug-2000.apk (2 seconds delay) I would be really surprised if it didn't work. But the delay may be too big so there are 2 other versions.

The video - it's not really important, but you can see the exact size in the linked page. It's 17MB. But it may need some not standard codecs (however VLC probably should include those).
