I highly enjoyed the historical accuracy. It felt very much light reading something out of Wolf Hall. The murder mystery did not have quite as satisfying a payoff as I might have liked, but I understand why Sansom did it and how it might function in future books.

Last evening I read Fuminori Nakamura's The Gun, which was an interesting take on guns and gun culture mentality from the perspective of a country who's police fired 6 shots in all of last year.

Started Ada Palmer's Too Like the Lightning this morning.
