It did take me a while to sync my 8gig library with Google Drive (using wi-fi). But once it's done, I'm glad it is there.

I have cable internet and a desktop downstairs that I only use every couple of days. I do wonder how long it would take to back up, say, 3TB of data.

Practicality may not be there yet for my much larger set of data, but I think online back-up is the future and will become easier to back up larger amounts. I'll always keep offline copies too, of course.
