While waiting for Butcher, Lynch or Rothfuss to actually finish writing a book has anyone read a new urban fantasy or scifi series. I might have added Sanderson to the list to but he has confirmed releases coming out in 2017. If Butcher comes out with a release date i might schedule a reread of Dresden which I admit I have read only the first 5 books twice and have not reread any of the others.
Personally I have been rereading a few series as some of the authors have restarted a series after a few years or I was not aware that the author has continued the story in a separate series so required a reread to get back into the story. Like Elizabeth Moon - Vatta series or Tanya Huff - peacekeeper. I also have read a few new series over the last six months or so to name a few

Rob J. Hayes - It takes a thief (Heist type plots in a fantasy setting)
Illona Andrews - Innkeeper Chronicles (Urban Fantasy
Spoiler:
Scifi where the non humans are alien species
)
Jack Campbell - Pillars of Reality (I really liked this series mix of YA fantasy and scifi)
Kristi Charish - The Owl (Urban Fantasy)

I am probably going to start another series by
Rob J. Hayes - The Ties That Bind (Fantasy)
or
Myke Cole - Shadow Ops (Urban Fantasy) I am not sure how to start this series though as the author wrote a 3 book series then he has written 3 prequels so I am conflicted if I should read by timeline or book release.
