Naah, try the double page set-up I posted a demo video about, you'll hardly miss your 26'' - of course, since you will keep it at half distance. By the way, I contacted Ivan this morning about implementing "double page, landscape, horizontal scrolling" on his Lirbi Reader. When I will have something I will post in the relevant thread.

I looked for something and could not find a good retail solution. But: if you had the wood dept. of your DIY shop cut for you a 220x310, ~3mm MDF or similar board, you could insert it (after rounding the edges etc.) in the front sleeve of the cover that comes with the device. It may make it heavy - I do not know a non-flexible lighter plastic.
