But you have to do the copying for every new release, don't you?

And what about Windows on Stick implementations, most of them only seem to have 2 Gig on board - could they run 64bit calibre?

Maybe a case could be made for two Portable's editions (32 bit and 64 bit), or an 'install time' option - but I'm not advocating for either.
