As a quick check, how many folders starting "files" do you have in the sdcard folder? You've probably only got 2, but you should have 5! Try a different unzipper or check for options to ensure that empty folders get created.
[Jeff: With empty directory trees around, it might be worth considering a 'check scan' on startup to detect this, as it appears they tend to be a bit of an 'edge case' for ZIP support?]

This is why I wanted a zipped folder of a problem installation...to do a diff between it and a working one. I do a check for missing files, but obviously there's an edge case I missed.
