In the August email from the Crime Classics folks (UK), they mention that the Allingham Casebook, a "collection of witty short stories", by (surprise) Margery Allingham will be on sale for $0.99 on August 17, tomorrow. However, just for fun I looked today, and found that it has already dropped at Kindle US.

It does not seem to be available at either Kindle UK (can't find a Kindle edition, odd, since Crime Classics is a UK thing, I thought, but I know the rights are very different for Allingham's titles in the US and UK) or Kobo US (can't find it at all).

I also don't know if this is the same collection of stories as The Case Book of Mr. Campion listed at SYKM, and I'm in a hurry so don't have time to check. If someone else knows the answer or has time to investigate, please share your knowledge!

Anyway, here are link and blurb:

Spoiler:
Quote:
Eighteen succulent mysteries from the Queen of Crime, guaranteed to baffle the most ingenious of armchair detectives - and even, at times, the imperturbable Albert Campion himself.

Enjoy Margery Allingham at her witty best as she spins delicious tales of high risk heists and domestic deceptions in this exquisite short story collection.

'A perfectly splendid collection of short stories, richly imbred with that unique flavour Miss Allingham distilled so well' - H. R. F. Keating
