I'm not ColdSun but my device is a HX4700 too since 2 years now. And it works fine for ebooks with adjustable font-size like Mobi. I have the Foxit reader installed too. With reflow-pdfs it's ok, but not for normal pdfs.

The standard battery must be loaded once a weak with reading 1 to 1,5 hours every evening (with backlight, but not at highest level) and normal using of the calender and the adress book. Using the media player for mp3s reduces the battery life time highly.

You may get a battery with higher capacity via ebay, but then the reader doesn't fit into the leather case anymore. But it doubles the running time.
