Eh. Kobo right now doesn't have anything comparable to the $80 Kindle and the Kobo Aura 2 at $130 is more like a PW2 than a PW3 with it's 212PPI screen. Amazon has been extremely aggressive with pricing on the Kindle and Paperwhite in Canada. Our $80 Kindle has no ads yet costs the same as the U.S model with ads. The Paperwhite 3 here is costs $140 the same as a U.S PW3 with no ads. Yet our dollar is only about 80 cents U.S. I think Amazon Canada isn't making much money if at all on the sale of Kindle hardware. They want to steal as much marketshare from Kobo as they can.
