I have been using night mode on my Kobo Glo HD forever and it's wonderful! I took the plunge today and purchased a Kobo Aura One and - of course - my first bit of business is to get the awesome night mode hack working. I found this thread and followed the directions in post 26 above. KoboRoot.tgz unpacked just fine. I then edited the nightmode.ini file to read this:

and ejected, restarted...no love. Setting the brightness to 3% (my preference) does not toggle night mode. I'm very sad.
My KA1 is running firmware 4.5.9587 (c77383d7d1, 7/13/17). Does anyone see if I've screwed up somewhere? Or, it is possible that this version of the night mode patch is not compatible with my firmware?
