You can simply use a self signed certificate for https. That will protect your content from your ISP just fine. You create s self signed certificate, then you add the path to it in the calibre server settings and the calibre server will then use https. But note that some things, such as offline access will not work with self signed certificates with some browsers, because Chrome for example, stupidly disables application cache when using self signed certficates.
