Or the reviews and ratings that appear before even ARC copies are available. Goodreads is the site I notice this the most on -- Harbinger (book 5 in the Elfhome series) for example has 3 5 star and 1 4 star ratings -- one from 2015. The latest from Wen Spencer is that the expected release is sometime in 2018 (August 33rd? ) and the title is still just a working title.
